Daily Blog Day 7

Daily Blog:

Today we started off the day by reading a reading called Take a Closer Look, then we read the small world exercise. Once we did that we had started to walk to Delco Park. We walked about a mile and a half to get to the park, once we go there we headed over to one of the pavilions and sat at the picnic benches. Then we had a guest speaker who talked to us about poetry, Rob E. Boley was the one who talked about poetry to us. He read some metaphors to us, then we had to write our own metaphors. Our metaphors had to be about the nature around us, once we did that we had to read the metaphors to each other. Then we were able to just walk around the park, me and my friends played volleyball for the rest of the day until lunch. Then we walked back after having a good day.

Daily Blog:

Today we went to Carriage Hill metro park, we were able to walk around the trails and look at the animals. First we went to look at the houses and we saw a blacksmith working on something. Then we went to see the animals they had a donkey, pigs, chickens, and horses. We were able to get pictures with horses, once we did that we went to the hiking trails. We walked over and bridge and took pictures in the creek. Next we kept walking until we got to the cemetery, we kept walking to go eat lunch. We at lunch and we got our bags of candy, and because I brought money me and my friends went into the candy store and bought candy. Then went we finished the candy we went back to the farms and we played hind and go seek.

Daily Blog:

Today we went to back to the narrows and went hiking, walked to the nature center, and swam in the river. First me and my friends went to the nature center, while there we saw birds like a hawk, a vulture, and owls. Then we went to the inside of the nature center, in there we saw snakes and turtles. So today I decided to sketch and draw the big owl that we saw, I chose this because I thought It was pretty and it had really big eyes.
